The chapter proudly recognized the Harker Heights High School Cheerleaders for their $1,000 contribution in support of Fort Hood’s Wounded Warrior Program.

These Harker Heights High School Cheerleaders donated $1,000 to Fort Hood’s Wounded Warrior Program. In return, Major General Jeff Hammond, Commanding General, 4th Infantry Division, asked that the chapter present an autographed “Hot It Trot” poster, along with General Hammond’s note of thanks for their support.

Brigadier General Vincent K. Brooks, Commanding General, 1st Cavalry Division, updated our chapter on his Division’s latest, fifteen month, operational deployment as the Multinational Division - Baghdad.

As part of his presentation, BG Brooks reported on the heroism of several of First Team Soldiers.

Chapter President Jim Anderson, assisted by Incoming Chapter President Ron Taylor, presented General Brooks with a small token of the chapter’s appreciation for his update - and his superb support of our chapter.
